Image of Supreme CourtThe following subject overviews are designed to be starting points for research or study in particular areas. They broadly include information relating to the following categories of resources: 

  • Study Aids: The library collects several study aid series, including Nutshells, Concise Hornbooks, and Examples & Explanations as well as the Understanding and Mastering series.
  • CALI: CALI stands for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction. The CALI website provides online tools, lessons, and other learning resources on a variety of legal subjects. 
  • New Books: Selected new books, including electronic books 
  • Databases:  An overview of relevant databases to which the Center subscribes. There are also links to topical resource or practice center pages within Bloomberg Law, Lexis Advance, and Westlaw, which provide case law and other primary resources, news, electronic treatises, and other information. 
  • Other Resources: Additional selected Internet resources relating to the topic 
  • News: Suggested news sources, including ABA resources, blogs, and news articles
