The Current Index of Legal Publications (CILP) is a current awareness resource that indexes over 650 legal publications. Articles are organized within over 100 subject headings. The complete table of contents information is provided for all indexed journals. According to the website, CILP publishes approximately 4 to 6 weeks before materials become available in commercial indexes.
A list of the indexed journals can be found here.
CILP has been produced by the University of Washington School of Law; however it was recently acquired by HeinOnline. HeinOnline is in the process of integrating CILP into its available databases.
At present, you can find the most recent 8 weeks of CILP on Westlaw. HeinOnline currently has past issues from 1936 to 2019.
If you are interested in receiving an email version of the table of contents any time a new issue of a particular journal comes out, you can set up that service using the MyHein and eTOC features on HeinOnline. Here is a short video explaining the service. A librarian can also set up an alert and add you as an additional user.
The table of contents that you receive in your email will contain proxied hypertext links to particular articles. In other words, if you click on the link and then enter your Multipass credentials, you will be taken directly to that article in HeinOnline. Please contact Julie Tedjeske (email@example.com), Electronic Resources and Instructional Services Librarian, for more information.
