2019 Faculty Survey

 

ABA standard 601(a)(3) requires that the Duquesne Center for Legal Information (DCLI) “engages in a regular planning and assessment process, including assessment of the effectiveness of the library in achieving its mission and realizing its established goals.”  The 2019 law faculty survey was designed to determine effectiveness of DCLI and to identify areas for improvement.

 

Highlights

  • 17 valid responses

  • 100% of faculty surveyed are “very satisfied” or “mostly satisfied” with library support for their learning, research, and/or teaching needs

  • 100% of faculty surveyed are “very satisfied” or “mostly satisfied” with the overall quality of service provided by the library

  • There was no clear consensus as to what to do with the print bound periodical/law review collection

  • 58% of faculty surveyed are “very satisfied” or “mostly satisfied” with our print resources collection; 24% do not use print resources

  • 94% of faculty surveyed are “very satisfied” or “mostly satisfied” with our electronic database collection
