New U.S. Supreme Court Research Guide 

The U.S. Supreme Court opens its new term this Monday and is expected to hear potentially blockbuster cases relating to partisan gerrymandering, unions, and First Amendment rights. The "First Monday in Octoberhas been the Court’s official start date for more than a century, and is codified at 28 U.S.C. § 2 (2012). In conjunction with the start of the new term, the DCLI has created a research guide that highlights resources relating to the U.S. Supreme Court. The following additional resources may also be of interest:
