This research guide is compiled by the staff of the Allegheny County Law Library as a list of the Library's resources in addition to external resource links with information regarding Estate Law.  It is intended for those persons navigating the process of dealing with a relative's estate and will after death, the many documents needed for completion and filing said documents.

The practice and procedure in the division is governed by the Probate, Estates, and Fiduciaries Code, 20 Pa. C.S.A. Section 101, et. seq., the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Orphans’ Court Rules, and the Allegheny County Orphans’ Court Rules.
