Faculty Scholarship Services: Ensuring Scholarship Visibility

Law Library offers a range of services supporting faculty services

Setting up ORCID, Google Scholar, and SRRN Profile

ORCID - register for an ORCID ID, a unique identifier to ensure proper attribution and author association (this is very useful for people that have similar names to other authors)

Set up your Google Scholar Author Profile with your academic email (@duq.edu).  Add articles you've authored using Google suggestions or manually.  The profile is critical for accurate impact and citation metrics.  Google Scholar pulls from SSRN, HeinOnline, and other leading publishers.

Review your SSRN author page for completeness and accuracy.

Link your ORCID ID to your  SSRN author page.

Link your ORCID ID to your Hein Author Profile

Setting Up Professional Accounts with your Academic Email

In addition to having your work republished on the Law Library's Digital Commons, here are a few more ways to promote your scholarship.

  1. Setting up an ORCID account;
  2. Setting up a Google Scholar Author Profile;
  3. Publishing scholarship (drafts and final papers) on SSRN through the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University Research Paper Series
