Law Library Faculty Librarian Assistance for Law Faculty

Law Library offers a variety of services to support faculty scholarship.

1. For easy reference questions as well as research questions, the fastest way to reach the Reference Desk is by emailing the Law Library's general email (lawlibrary@duq.edu) and by using Law Library's chat services. 
2. If you need help with course materials, also, the fastest way to reach Acquisitions is by using the general email (lawlibrary@duq.edu) and by using Law Library's chat services.
3. If you need an in-class research presentation, the fastest way to reach Research and Scholarship services is by emailing the Law Library's general email (lawlibrary@duq.edu) and by using Law Library's chat services. 
4. For any suggestions, taking the Law Library's bi-annual surveys is key. The surveys provide the Law Library with the needed information to improve its faculty services.

Law Library provides support for faculty. Here is some services we provide: 

• Ordering books and other materials to support research and teaching;
• Performing in-depth legal research; 
• Guest lecturing on legal research issues;
• Training research assistants;
• One-on-one training on the use of library resources;
• Arranging for research assistants or other designees to check out books in your name (proxy lending);
• Scheduling use of the library classrooms or group study rooms;
• Setting up remote access to Law360
