CARA A.I., which is part of Casetext, provides a document-based search experience. Users can upload a complaint, brief, or other document into the system and the system provides information on potentially relevant citations that are not included in the uploaded document. CARA A.I. can supplement conventional search techniques, and may be helpful for double-checking work or for locating potentially relevant materials that are not cited in an opponent's brief.
Access Information:
Law school faculty, staff, and students can sign up for free access to Casetext, including CARA A.I.
Note: Note: We do not subscribe to or support Casetext/CARA A.I., but they make their product available to law faculty and students for free. They also have a student ambassador program
